EKU Online: Paralegal Degree Types

Whether you are looking to enter the paralegal workforce quickly with the best possible skills or wish to obtain a more in-depth understanding of paralegal science, EKU has a degree option that fits your needs.

Paralegal Studies (A.A.S.)
The associate degree program is designed to quickly and effectively prepare students to enter the paralegal workforce. Students who choose this program can complete it in approximately 21 months of full-time study.

Paralegal Science (B.A.)
Our bachelor's degree balances the study of law and paralegal skill with a thorough background of liberal arts. Baccalaureate level paralegals may look forward to broad employment and professional school (e.g., law school, business school) opportunities.

Certificate in Paralegal Science (Post-Baccalaureate)
The post-baccalaureate certificate program is designed for students who already hold a Baccalaureate degree in an area other than Paralegal Science. The certificate program will effectively prepare students to enter the paralegal workforce within 9 months (two semesters) and focuses on practical paralegal skills including legal research, legal administration, and the latest applications of technology in the law office.
