Faculty Spotlight: Dr. Linda Gosnell
Dr. Gosnell is a Visiting Lecturer in the EKU Paralegal Program. She teaches LAS 210: Introduction to the Law, LAS 220: Legal Research and Writing I, LAS 350: Litigation Evidence to Discovery; LAS 355: Litigation Trial to Appeal, and LAS 385: Legal Administration and Computer Application.
What are your areas of expertise?
My areas of expertise are litigation and legal ethics – the “law of lawyering.”
Why did you choose this field?
I worked as a litigator for 25 years and worked as an enforcer of the ethical rules governing the lawyers of Kentucky.
What do you love about teaching?
I never tire of seeing students improve their understanding of the law as the semester progresses. I particularly enjoy the opportunity to help train the people who will help the public get access to justice.
How do you spend your free time?
I spend time with my husband and two children.
